I went with the Gt-28r because I wanted more power than stock turbos could offer but I wanted it in a usuable range for city driving (the car occasionally sees a momentary romp on the pedal but most of the time is spent driving through traffic light heaven), the 28r spools a little quicker but also runs out of steam on the top end where the rs will have the top end (at least from the info that I read) but you will need a little more road to get the turbos spooling
